Dennis Rodman's plan to travel to Russia || President Biden Reacts

A report from Rolling Stone said the administration didn't give Rodman" authorization" to go to Russia and intrude in the concession process, and now State Department prophet Ned Price has told journalists on the record that the Biden admin is cautious of Rodman's presence complicating an formerly tense situation. 

“ We put forward a substantial offer to Russia to seek the freedom of Paul Whelan or Brittney Griner, ” Price said on Monday, via The Hill." We believe that anything other than negotiating further through the established channel is likely to complicate and hamper those release sweats." 

Let's see if Rodman actually winds up making the trip after all. 

Griner, an WNBA star who was playing overseas in Russia during the offseason, was arrested at a Moscow field in February after she was set up to have cannabis oil painting in her possession. 

Griner has been detained ever ago, and was lately doomed to nine times in captivity. United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken verified last month that the administration had offered a deal to Russia in exchange for Griner and Whelan's freedom.
